Rural Oklahoma Pride

Helping the 2SlGBTQIA community in rural areas of Oklahoma.”

This isn’t just a motto; This is what Rural Oklahoma Pride is about. The opportunity to be heard, listened to, cared about, and taken seriously should always be available to every lgbtqia+ voice, not just in our rural areas but everywhere. The individuals that help share our rural areas are not just members of a community; instead, they are our future leaders, our future presidents, and the people who will help change this world. It is time we stand together and bring equality and diversity to those who need it.

Using humor and wit to expose the forces of bigotry, complacency, and guilt that chain the human spirit. The mission statement of the mother house is “to spread joy and fight systemic guilt” Since that first appearance, the Sisters have founded mission houses throughout the world. The Sisters of the Sacred Heartland mission house was founded in 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK.
